Gippsland Primary Health Network (PHN) is partnering with Cann10 and the Latrobe Health Assembly to offer a series of free forums for health professionals and the community about Medicinal Cannabis and why it’s emerging as a mainstream medication across the world.
The afternoon forums are tailored to meet the needs of the Gippsland Community and aiming to debunk the myths around medicinal cannabis. They will provide learnings on all they need to know about the benefits of medicinal cannabis and how eligible patients can access medications in Australia.
The evening forum will educate health professionals on the research and information in order to provide medical professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently navigate this topic with their patients.
Cann10 is the first education provider in the medicinal cannabis industry in Australia. They have partnered with both Deakin University and Western Sydney University delivering educational events with evidence-based knowledge to inform health professionals and community members on the use of medicinal cannabis to treat medical conditions.
The medical and community forums will be held in Inverloch, Bairnsdale and Traralgon in the first week of March. To register www.gphn.org.au/events.
