How you can show your support for the Latrobe Valley:
Become a Friend of the Assembly
Becoming a Friend of the Assembly is an easy way to contribute to your community in a way that works for you.
- Share your experience in a time that works for you
- Only participate in topics that are important to you
- Help shape project development via low effort mediums (surveys or online forums)
- Receive the latest LHA merchandise as it arrives
- No interviews, no assessment, join immediately and start contributing right away
- No minimum commitment to attending meetings or engaging in activities
- No requirement to be involved in organisational activities
Volunteer as an Assembly member
Becoming an Assembly member is a highly rewarding to give back to your community.
- Volunteer your time to help shape health and wellbeing in the Latrobe Valley
- Play a guiding role in the development of innovative projects
- Use your networks to share the work of the Assembly out to the wider community
- Use your networks to gather insights from the wider-community
- Commit to a minimum of four quarterly full Assembly meetings per year
- Remain actively engaged across a wide variety of projects that can benefit from your skills and experience
- Interview and LHA Board assessment required
