Latrobe Health Assembly

Black Dog Ride – Community Carnival sponsorship

Project Objectives

The Black Dog Ride run an annual one-day motorcycle event at a multitude of points across the country simultaneously. This is a charity and awareness ride run by the bikers themselves that raises funds for local Lifeline services and for Mental Health first aid training.

This year the Gippsland One Day event starts and returns to the same place, at Old Gippstown in Moe. During this event, the Health Assembly will be sponsoring a family wellness day with the aim to raise the awareness of mental health issues and provide an outreach opportunity for local service providers to connect with the community.

Status Update

The Old Gippstown Wellness Day will be held on March 18, 2018 between 10.00am – 3.00pm. Entry is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Lifeline Morwell.
